A Squirrely Story



This game is a 3D Collectathon Platformer developed by a team of 14 people including myself.

I was privileged enough to be granted the role of lead game designer for this project!




Since squirrels are often scurrying around high up in the trees, I wanted to have the level design reflect that.

Although there are specific challenges in the level for the player to interact with, I personally focused on how those challenge areas could be physically connected.

I placed various structures around the map as alternative ways for players to access parts of the level. This was to preserve the natural feeling of the forest

Trees grow wherever they can, not just because some squirrel needs them to get around the place. Adding these extra pieces to the level makes the world feel more full and alive
